Mrs. Barnes



My name is Brittany Barnes. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in May 2010. Last summer, I got married! I have been teaching for four years. I taught for two years in Fulton County and this year is my second year with Atlanta Public Schools. I'm very excited! I truly love to teach! I have wanted to do this for as long as I remember! It is my passion!



In my spare time, I love to read! I also love to spend time with my husband and my family. My favorite thing to do is travel! Some of my favorite trips include: Italy, New York City, London, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. My husband and I are currently planning another overseas trip! We're thinking about going to Japan, Ireland, or France!



In January of 2013, I began my work on my Master's Degree from the University of West Georgia. I am planning on graduating with my Master's Degree in the Summer of 2014. I love books and technology so I decided to get my degree in Library and Informational Sciences. I hope to be a media specialist soon!
